The Grace Project Inc. is the ministry vision of Dr. A. Jerome R. and Crystal Butler. Dr. Butler has been in Pastoral Ministry for over 30 years. A bout with prostate cancer led him away from the rigors of pastoral ministry to his passion for loving and helping unhoused families and unhoused veterans.

The ministry began with two properties that the Butlers donated themselves. 1624 Daniel Sharpe Road in Swansea, South Carolina, and 304 Tribble Street in Seneca, South Carolina. Both Properties are unimproved land; it is an undertaking that is a labor of Love.

As the Butler's moved forward, they constructed a Board of Directors of Dr. M. W. Henderson and Elder Carolyn Henderson of Augusta, Georgia. Deacon Handy and Linda McManus of North Augusta, South Carolina. Sister Kisa Grate of Columbia, South Carolina, and Bishop Barber of Augusta, Georgia.

We submitted for Non-Profit Status in South Carolina and 501 c 3 in 2020. That documentation is on this page in accordance with Federal Law.

Financial Disclosure – At the end of 2021 the Ministry raised 2045.10
